Inside the Site
Work is continuing on the underground garage for Maizon Bethesda residents, with the entrance on Moorland Lane. You’ll see trucks hauling dirt within the construction site to backfill the interior garage ramp on Moorland Lane.
Concrete operations continue. We have started water proofing around the foundation walls. You’ll see a flow of concrete trucks in and out of the site on a regular basis. The end date depends on how cooperative the weather is but we are currently scheduled to top out (pour the last level) early summer of 2020.
Underground Utility Work
We are undergrounding overhead lines starting on the west side of Arlington Road, crossing over Arlington Road to Edgemoor Lane and ending at the Edgemont. We have started trenching for the installation of the conduit. These trenches are being plated at the end of each work day.
One lane closure will continue on Edgemoor Lane and Arlington Road. These closures will take place while the work is on-going from 9 AM - 3 PM. When the workers are done for the day, the lanes will reopen. These partial lane closings will take place for the duration of the utility relocation project.
Hours of Operation
Hours of operation at the construction site are 7 AM–7 PM Monday through Friday and 9 AM–3 PM in public areas. Saturday hours are from 9 AM–3 PM due to noise restrictions. We will be taking onsite deliveries from 7 AM–7 PM.
